With bettertree®, you can enjoy fresh branches and the scent of fir in your home every Christmas. The wooden frame stays, while you create a new tree each year. Add the branches one by one and shape it your way: full or airy, traditionally decorated or completely different from last year.
After Christmas, remove the branches and store your bettertree® for next year. Only individual branches are harvested for your fresh greenery, so the trees stay standing and keep growing. Each Christmas, you can create a tree that feels just right for you.

The main argument for the sustainability of a Bettertree® is, of course, that from now on no more trees need to be cut down to set up a beautiful Christmas tree. But that alone is not enough for us! We therefore only use sustainably grown ash wood for production, completely avoid plastic, and produce with small local craft businesses.
Our Bettertree® fir branches come from sustainably managed areas. We only cut individual branches – the tree remains standing and can continue to grow. You have the choice between Nordmann fir and Nobilis fir – both freshly cut, shipped carbon-neutrally and delivered to you on time on your desired date. Also available as a subscription if desired.
With proper care, fir branches lasts about 3-4 weeks. Nobilis branches even a little longer. Tip: You can spray the branches regularly with a little water. This keeps the fir branches fresh longer.
First, you set up your Keinachtsbaum®. Then, you insert the fresh branches one by one. Depending on the model and the desired fullness, you should plan for about 75 minutes for assembly and styling. Many make this a fixed part of the Christmas season. You set up the tree together, insert the branches, and then decorate it as a group.
Yes, you can decorate your Bettertree® just like a traditional Christmas tree. Baubles, fairy lights, and other decorations will hold up without any problems.
You will receive the Keinachtsbaum® as a wooden "tree trunk," matched to the size and version you have chosen. Depending on the product, the base is also included. You can order the decorative greenery from us separately. In the case of sets, it is already included. What exactly is included in the scope of delivery is always stated directly with the respective product.
To assemble it, you will need pruning shears, a knife, and a blanket or mat for the floor. You can order pruning shears and a knife from us as well. It is best to lay the mat out where you plan to set up your Keinachtsbaum®. This keeps needles and small twig remnants in one place.
