Every year, millions of trees are cut down and disposed of in Germany. Many choose artificial Christmas trees, but these are made of non-recyclable plastic and already cause a high CO₂ footprint during production.
Bettertree® is the better solution. It combines the naturalness of fresh branches with the longevity of a reusable system. You enjoy real fir scent, authentic design, and a festive atmosphere – all without felling trees and completely without plastic.

The main argument for the sustainability of a Bettertree® is, of course, that from now on no more trees have to be cut down to put up a beautiful Christmas tree. But that alone is not enough for us! We only use sustainably grown ash wood for production, completely avoid plastic, and produce with small local craft businesses.
You can gather your own fir branches locally from garden centers, nurseries, or directly from the forest (with permission). We recommend fir, spruce, or pine branches.
With proper care, fir branches will last about 3-4 weeks. Place the branches in water and keep them cool and moist.
Assembly is child's play and only takes about 10-15 minutes. Simply slot the wooden stand together and insert the branches – done!
Yes, you can decorate your Bettertree® just like a traditional Christmas tree. Baubles, fairy lights, and other decorations will hold without any problems.
